God Is…

$65.00

A 10-Session Curriculum for Kids Ages 6–10

Who is God?

It’s one of the biggest questions kids can ask—and one of the most important.

Children are already forming ideas about who God is through the stories they hear, the people they trust, the questions they ask, and the world they are learning to navigate. God Is… gives churches, children’s ministries, and small groups a thoughtful and engaging way to help kids explore those big questions together.

Across ten sessions, children encounter familiar Bible stories that reveal something about the character of God. They’ll discover a God who is faithful, creative, powerful, just, generous, present, a friend, a comforter, merciful, and loving.

But this series is about more than learning ten facts about God.

It invites children to wonder.

To open their Bibles and discover the stories for themselves. To ask questions without needing to have all the answers. To make connections between Scripture and their own lives. And to begin noticing how knowing who God is can shape who they are becoming.

Because when kids discover a God who is generous, they can practice generosity.

When they discover a God who cares about justice, they can notice what is unfair and help make things right.

When they discover a God who is present, they can remember they are not alone.

When they discover a God who is merciful, they can practice forgiveness and compassion.

And when they discover that God is love, they can begin to recognize that love in themselves, in one another, and in the world around them.

Made for Real Kids—and Real Ministry

You don’t need a theology degree, a giant supply closet, or three hours of prep to lead a meaningful Bible study.

God Is… is designed to give leaders enough structure to feel prepared while leaving room for the wonderfully unpredictable things that happen when kids start asking real questions.

The activities are playful. The Bible work is intentional. The theology is thoughtful. And the conversations make room for children to wonder, disagree, laugh, create, move, and discover.

Because faith isn't formed by memorizing all the right answers.

It grows as children learn to trust that their questions belong here, too.

Help Kids Discover Who God Is—and Who They Are

Children are surrounded by messages telling them who they should be.

Faster. Smarter. Better. More successful. More popular. Less afraid.

God Is… begins somewhere different.

Before asking children what they should do, it invites them to discover who God is.

And slowly, something beautiful happens.

As children discover God's faithfulness, creativity, justice, generosity, presence, mercy, comfort, friendship, power, and love, they begin to see themselves differently, too:

Created in God's image.
Deeply loved.
Never alone.
Capable of compassion.
Invited to participate in God's goodness in the world.

Ten sessions.

Ten characteristics of God.

Ten opportunities to open Scripture, ask big questions, and help kids build a faith that can keep growing right alongside them.
